Problems opening webpages
- Every Mac comes with Apple's Safari web browser installed on it, and lots of people use it. Safari is far from the only browser you can use on a Mac, however. While the built-in option has benefits, you may want a different program, like Google Chrome. Here's how to put Google's browser on your Mac.
- First, click on the 'Go' option on the menu and open the Home directory from here. Once the Home directory is opened, you can access multiple folders from here. Find the 'Downloads' folder where all the downloaded data is stored. Now, drag the Downloads folder and drop it to a relevant position on the dock.
If your computer is connected to the internet but you still have problems, wait a few minutes, then try again to view the webpage.
